About this programme
Boda boda riders are often the first people to arrive at road accident scenes across Kenya. Yet most lack even basic first aid knowledge, meaning critical minutes are lost and injuries worsen before professional help reaches the scene. Amiafam's Boda Boda First Aid Training programme closes this gap by equipping riders with practical, hands-on emergency response skills. Sessions cover bleeding control, wound care, fracture management, airway management, and safe patient positioning. Each rider receives a small first aid kit to carry on their motorcycle. The training is delivered in partnership with certified paramedics and takes place in riding hot-spots across Nairobi and other counties.
